Family TraditionPalace Jewelers originated in 1932 at the once popular Palace Theater in downtown Flint. Here the late Robert L. Baumbach repaired clocks and watches in the lobby. His business was relocated when the theater lobby had to be enlarged. Robert also expanded when he moved, adding diamond and jewelry sales. At the new location Robert's seven sons learned the jewelry trade. Five of eight children are jewelers today running
Roger Baumbach, owner of Palace Jewelers in Grand Blanc, along with his brother Russell, have been serving the Grand Blanc and surrounding areas for the last thirty years. The two brothers specialize in on the premises jewelery, watch, and clock repair. In addition, they service grandfather and antique clocks. They will even make house calls!
